At-Large Trawl Seat Open on Groundfish Advisory Sub-panel

The Pacific Fishery Management Council (Council) is requesting nominations of qualified candidates to fill the vacant Trawl At-Large seat on its Groundfish Advisory Subpanel (GAP) for remainder of the 2016-2018 advisory body term.

The GAP is charged with advising the Council on issues associated with its Groundfish Fishery Management Plan.   The current vacancy is for a Trawl At-Large position, and the Council is seeking nominees with knowledge and expertise regarding ocean groundfish fishery issues on the Pacific Coast, especially with regard to West Coast groundfish trawl fisheries.

To ensure consideration, nominations should be received at the Council office no later than 5 p.m. Pacific Time, Thursday, October 19, 2017.
