June 21-28 Council Meeting Information

The trawler Jeanette MarrieThe F/V Jeanette Marrie, a 67-foot steel groundfish trawler built at Giddings Boat Works in Charleston, Ore., in 1988, is tied up at the dock Charleston on Tuesday, April 16, 2013. The Jeanette Marrie was one of fewer than 200 trawl vessels on the West Coast to receive an initial allocation of groundfish trawl quota in the Trawl Individual Quota program that was implemented in 2011.

It looks like most of the Council activity on groundfish will occur June 25th thru the morning of the 28th. Please see the links to agendas below.

The Pacific Fishery Management Council (Council) and its advisory bodies will meet June 21‐28, 2016 in Tacoma, Washington to address issues related to salmon, groundfish, highly migratory species, Pacific Halibut, and habitat matters.
